THE rapist’s rough tongue probably licked Luzviminda Bernardo, 58, starting from her dry, chapped lips. Then, he must have slurped on her neck until he reached her brown nipples. As he became hard, he perhaps pushed his penis deep into her damp hole. After drinking with seven men, the lola was too intoxicated to resist the rape, which ended in her murder.

Supt. Ronaldo Mendoza, San Mateo police chief, in his report to Senior Supt. Jonathan Ferdinand Miano, Rizal Provincial Police Office director, said Bernardo was found dead by one of her boarders in her room located at Lot 5, Block13, Benzonville Subd., Bgy. Dulong Bayan, San Mateo, Rizal.

Reports said Bernardo was last seen having a drinking session inside her house at 4 p.m. last Feb. 26. After the spree, the victim’s buddies left and headed for their respective homes. However, one of them identified as Jonathan Guian, 29, decided to go back to Bernardo’s residence claiming that he had forgotten his bag.

Since then, Bernardo was nowhere to be seen. Her lifeless body was found 5:30 p.m. by a boarder, Herald Escovilla. A piece of cloth covered her nose and mouth, indicating that she was choked to death.

Escovilla claimed Guian was the last man he saw coming out of the victim’s house. He was nabbed by police in a follow-up operation. However, he strongly denied having anything to do with the rape-slay.

Guian is locked up at the San Mateo Police detention center.
