Man Sought Raper to Rape His Wife

The man of an North Carolina – US, household, were arrested after he had been listing a request to have his wife be raped through Craigslist.com.
One man agreed to his request and visited the couple’s home one late night, and armed with a knife, he “snuck” right into the bedroom where the wife was silent asleep, and proceeded to violate her while the rest of the family members, two young children and their father were in an another room, “unaware” of the entire event.
Police quickly noticed that there hadn’t been any “forced” entry made, and arrested the “rapist”.
“During the investigation, investigators interviewed the victim and her husband. Investigators became suspicious when they noticed there was no sign of forced entry to the home. Investigators also developed information that led them to note specific inconsistencies in the initial statement provided by [the man].”
Police then while doing further investigation found that the husband had responded to two request made in Craigslist.com in an effort to arrange for someone to come to his home and have sex with his wife, using some kind of “scary technique”.
Investigators believe that the husband hired the “rapist” without first telling his wife of the idea, thus giving the event more “realism”, ending with the wife being hospitalized and forensically examined, however suffered no significant injury.
The rapist in question, faces charges of first degree rape, two counts of first degree sexual offenses and a count of attempted sexual offense.
While there are no motives revealed quite yet, there might be a chance that this is one of those rare cases of BDSM play gone horrible wrong, if there are such rare cases.
